Winter Sonata Fanfiction 5 of 38
" Oh!"
Yoo-jin turns around and stands up, bailing with smile.
"Mr. Kim, it's been a while. How Have you been? "
As he puts his luggage on the floor and takes off his shoes, he says cheerfully.
"Nice to see you again. In fact__"
Putting his hand on his chest, he walks toward her.
"__ I was fine until this morning. But I got seasick."
"I can't stand." he says with a slightly funny gesture.
"Small boats tend to rock , you know."
Joon-sang senses that Kim trys to set the mood and avoid serious conversations, because his appearance has been unnaturally exaggerated.
Joon-sang responds with amusement as well.
"Kim-seonbae, You're actually hungover, aren't you?"
"What?"
Kim laughs jokingly.
Yoo-jin giggles and says to Kim:
”Would you like some tea?. Or water, perhaps?"
"Well then, a glass of water, please.... Oh, and the kitchen is, I believe__"
He says as looking toward the back of the house.
Yoo-jin smiles and says.
"I know where it is. I remember every detail of this house!"
When she goes to the kitchen, the men are left and silent.
For a while, only the sound of the waves echoes.
From a short distance away, Kim asks Joon-sang in a low tone.
"Are you okay?"
Joon-sang shakes his head lightly and forced a smile and said.
"I'm sorry, I have changed our schedule twice."
" No problem. That's not what I care about."
Kim recalls what happened two days ago.

(Kim's Recollections)
Two days ago.
Joon-sang and Kim sit side by side on a bench in a park in Seoul.
Kim tells Joon-sang.
"The results of the conference in Japan will be sent to the U.S. right away. When you arrive there, you'll be able to read them soon."
"I see" Joon-sang nods with a smile.
Kim handed him a can of coffee and continued.
"Well. The flight I booked is the day after tomorrow. Is there anything you want to do until then?"
As Joon-sang says nothing, Kim pats him on the shoulder and says as if to encourage him.
" You want to visit somewhere, don't you? I'm sure you do."
