 (Kim's reminiscence)

**

The next morning, at the cabstand in front of the hotel.

Three men stands there: Joon-sang who is leaving for the Island, Kim who comes to see him off, and a young man who is supposed to take care of Joon-sang as his escort.

Kim, with his hands in his pockets, cheerfully says,

"Well, be careful, Joon-sang."

Joon-sang ,hiding his heartbreak, forces a smile and says.

"Yap."

Kim shifts his gaze to the young employee (of Marcian) whose face shows no tense.

"Hey” Kim intimidatingly continues, "Listen to me."

" Keep an eye on this man, Huh?  Whenever you take your eyes off him, he'll be gone. That's happened a lot. He's always disappeared. If you lose him, you're fired!”

"What? "

The young man takes Kim at his word, looking anxiously at Kim and Joon-sang alternately.

Joon-sang laughs merrily.

"Come on!"

Kim also chuckles.

"Well then, see you tomorrow at the pier"

Joon-sang climbs into the backseat of the cab, supported by the young man.

"Ah! Joon-sang!"

Kim interrupts the closing door, peeping into the car.

"There is a special present for you in that house. In fact I put it on last year. I'm sure you'd like it"

"..?.."

Joon-sang smiles, wondering what Kim is suggesting.

The backseat door closes.

Kim watches the cab drive away.

(End of Kim's reminiscence)

**

The terrace of the impossible house is flooded with light.

Joon-sang, sitting in a chair, says with a calm face.

"Kim-seonbae, I'm fine right now. I already said to her congratulations."

They hear a clatter coming from the back of the house.

Yoo-jin returns, bringing a glass of water on a tray.
