Joon-sang operates the cellphone with his practiced hands.

He holds it to his ear for a while, waiting a reply.

Yoo-jin finds the words "out of range" on the display that he pulled away from his ear.

”It says 'out of range'. I'm afraid cellphones are out of service here."

"Out of range?  Really?" said he, blincking.

Yoo-jin ,seeing him hanging up and folding his cellphone, asks him.

"Is Mr. Kim Hyo-sook that Kim who I've known.... right?"

He nods, and mumbles worriedly.

"I wonder if the driver can find Kim-seonbae"

His chestnut hair is a little messy in the wind.　

Yoo-jin says "It's ok", remembering what was like on the boat .

"There were only 10 passengers at most on the ship that I got on. It may be easy to meet him."

Reassured by her words, He slowly reaches for his cup.

She gently guides his hand to the handle of the cup.

Their fingertips touch each other.

Their eyes helplessly flicker .

They sit not talking,  hearing the chirping of birds and the sound of tide.

Feeling her gaze, he can't stand the silence and opens his mouth.

"Yoo-jin, how did you find this place? Anyone taught you?"

"Yeah, Jeong-ah did. she showed me a picture of this house on a magazine several days ago."

She looks straight at him ,continuing.

“The moment I saw it, I knew for sure that it’s you. No one but you could do it. "

Listening to her, He stiffened

”Joon-sang, I made a promise I wouldn't see you anymore . But actually I...

I wish to see you. You should have contact me before you came to Seoul.

The reason you didn't was that you've lost..."

She hesitates about spreaking out the phrase " lost your eyesight".

"No, no, it wasn't ...well"

While he denies it, the voices he heard that day come back to his mind .

"Hey, Ji-hyun!"

"Why are you crying? Come here, darling"

" I wonder why Ji-hyun won't listen to us, Yoo-jin. Whose temper does she have?''

”It's obvious!  She inherited her temper from her father."

  Joon-sang says. "Yeah. The doctor told me to undergo surgency as soon as possible." They walk slowly between some trees that are evenly spaced. Yoo-jin asks him: "When did you ...er.. Three men stands there: Joon-sang who is leaving for the Island, Kim who comes to see him off, and a young man who is supposed to take care of Joon-sang as his escort.
