 (Kim's reminiscence)

The child's cry gets louder.

Joon-sang catches the male voice presumably that of the child's father.

"Ah! Che-Hyon, Stay with us."

Hearing it, he stiffens with his eyes wide open. Sang-hyeok? he mutters.

The mother's voice echoes, gently soothing the child.

"What's wrong, Che-Hyon?  why are you crying, darling. Come on."

Joon-sang freezes. Yoo-jin.

"She's not obedient, is she? Whose character did she inherit?"

"Oh, it's obvious, her father's! Good girl!  peekaboo!"

It's Yoo-jin's voice. It cannot be misheard.

Joon-sang, hearing the everyday life conversation between the happy family, stands alone there, and understands her life.

Kim, running back to Joon-sang, notices something weird.

"What's wrong?"

Joon-san was too devastated to explain.

Kim's attention is drawn to the young couple with the child a short distance away. He gasps when he realizes they are Yoo-jin, whose hair has grown longer, Sang-hyeok, who has begun to wear glasses, and their child.

Joon-sang stands his mind blank, hearing the cheerful talk.

" Bo--peep! "

Kim puts his hand on Joon-sang's shoulder and says.

"Shall we go back to the hotel, Joon-sang?"

Joon-sang just nods his head.

The young couple heads toward their place with their child in her arms.

"Good girl"

Her voice, getting further and further away, fades.
